Caution: Back to School Sales!!
Caution!! Reports from around the country are flooding in of Back-to-School sales being spotted. Children throughout the United States are urged to remain calm. Now’s not the time to panic. If you feel you must show resistance, we urge you to practice peaceful resistance, much like this gentleman is showing above.
I found this sketch I did a year ago around back-to-school time. I never finished it up, so I thought I’d at least give it a post for this week’s Illustration Friday topic, “Caution”. I’m not sure who the “caution” is for, students or parents (Mom can’t be having fun right now).
In our house it is the other way around. I love shopping for art supplies but school supplies make my skin crawl. Great sketch!
Very funny illustration, over here you can’t get in a shoe shop for the crowds of kids getting new school shoes. In my day Back to School signs appeared 2 weeks before going back, nowadays kids are bombarded with the signs two weeks before they even break up.
