Gator In Paris

One of my goals this year is to create an Etsy shop and start selling prints. This will be one of my first prints for sale. Not sure the details yet, so stay tuned. My wife, Rayna, suggested that I make this piece a part of a three-part series, so I think I will. She’s so smart!

Sketchbook Month: Day 31

It’s the last day of Sketchbook Month. Here’s my last entry. This may be the last time I try to draw an elephant holding something. (Josh, stop using the word “last”.) I really liked this *little* guy, so I had to do another doodle of him. Perhaps he’ll return someday in a more finished form.

It’s been a very fun month. It wouldn’t have been possible without illustrator, Cedric Hohnstadt, or all of the other amazing artists that have contributed sketches. When you get a moment take a look at all the great entries here. View all of my entries for Sketchbook Month here.

I plan on posting sketches more often in the future, but not at this frequency.

Elephant Golfer: Sketchbook Month Day 30

Here’s my entry for day 30 of Sketchbook Month. Do you have any idea how hard it is to draw an elephant golfing? Do you?! Heck, it’s hard drawing elephants just holding something. Their front “hands” are not suitable as hands at all. They’re more like giant paddles. I should have drawn him playing ping-pong.

Turtle Power: Sketchbook Month Day 29

A quick doodle for day 29 of Sketchbook Month. View all of my entries for Sketchbook Month here. Thank you, Cedric Hohnstadt, for organizing this fun project!

Facial Expression Studies: Sketchbook Month Day 28

Just a facial expression study I did over the weekend. I forgot to include crying because that’s what I’ll be doing once Sketchbook Month is over later this week. I won’t label the intended expressions. Hopefully you’ll be able to tell. If not, I’ve failed.
